Why bother?

For starters, have you even checked your Madness sprites for zombie hands? Tricky was in zombie form, but his hands were the original gray color. If you don't have any, why not make the hands yourself? It isn't hard making Madness flash stuff.

The part where Hank shot the grenade was terrible. The bullet would have pierced through the grenade's shell, exploding it, not kicking it back. Besides, the part with the pipe going down from the ceiling to the ground was awful, why not just draw it yourself? Like I said, it isn't hard.

Seriously, it isn't hard if you really try. If you're really lazy with flash, you'll bound to end up with crap. Why not put in more effort, and ask people around for tutorials? I did with some of my friends who had flash. If you have spare time, Newgrounds search some Madness Tutorials and run through 'em each a couple times (even dot notes if you want), it'll help you improve lots in no time.

Absolutely terrible.

1.) Crank up the FPS.
Madness runs the best on 30 frames per second, as the default 12, or whatever your currently running makes the animation run slow. The current frame rate on the animation is so slow, that it could bore a person in mere seconds or minutes.

2.) Walking.
Your current walking is sad. The foot lifts up and moves about a centimeter (or more) away from the current position, and then you drop it. Then, you move the back foot forward so it passes the foot in-front. The body here is moved along with the back foot.

3.) Deaths.
In Madness, they don't die with their feet going flat, it makes it look weird. The feet still same the same when they're walking and when they die.

4.) Spelling.
You are probably one of the worst spellers I've ever seen. Google up and download Firefox, then use that from now on. With firefox, you shouldn't be able to make that many typos as you do now. Also, if you're concerned about a word's spelling, be sure to google it first. If you spelt it wrong, the correct spelling should appear in a link.

5.) Practice.
You should practice more in your spare time animating. Eventually, you'll be able to make an animation way better then this, so why not start now? Only two more episodes until Madness is pretty much out of the hype.

6.) Positioning.
Hank's head isn't placed on right. It's too low, and too much to the left. You should always try to keep the head in the one place.

7.) Sprites.
I don't get it. You combined Madness Combat Antipathy, Consternation and Inundation sprites with Apotheosis sprites. Why not keep to one sprite selection? MC 6, 7, and 8 have the front view of the three fingers in the sheets, unless you never got them.

Also, could your characters be more original? You never drew anything at all (those edited posters don't count, either) so it's pretty much just a burger without the meat. Practice sprite creation! Even I had no idea what to do at first, but I figured out how to draw them later.

Keep trying.

Hot, hot, HOT!

Redness 2 eh? Runs a tad bit slower then the first chapter in the series, and lags a tad bit more. But, the violence is more hot and improved then the first animation. The movement improved in a big scale, as from Precedence (where they mostly hopped).

One thing I didn't really like is the AP-34. In the one scene, where he aiming from the scope, then looked the other way, and the bolt flipped sides, so it ends up being kinda weird. But- then again, the sniper part was the best from the whole animation. The first one to die from Giovanni was lol, masturbating to the one magazine.

Another thing that was weird is where the text went big, then went small (and a part of the text where Sal was talking was colored brown, rather then light-red). By the way, if Redness is meant to take place in a older time, why did Verdi's van have a keypad for the back door (since I doubt they had that technology then), either that or I'm thinking of something completely different, which is intended. Great job on this Alpha, looking forward to Redness 3. LET CYBAR.

Alpha-Nuva responds:

About the ap34. It has a bolt on either side, seeing as it's adaptable for anyone.

The text got messed up coz I never used the same font. I also had to get lazy with the ending text.

Finally, Redness takes place in modern times (Let's assume 2007 or 2008). The mafia still exists, in case you haven't heard.

Shit-

You actually got that PM from me? Holy shit, it's quite an honor to be in your flash! Now everyone will see how bad I pwned u lol. Srsly, go suck donkey penis!!!1

But really, I laughed. The voice is retarded, the writing is gigantically fail, and that's what makes it so funny. There really wasn't that much art in the flash, but the joke really made my day. My favorite was the 'kfhkfjghj, hjkjgfhkfh' part. Fun fun.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF- UCK.

I really like the choice of music, and how they were used in the film the most out of everything. API's Anaconda fit so well in the beginning 'jungle' scene. And then the Madness4 song (which wasn't credited, though is on Newgrounds) fit with the Madness Apotheosis reference. Then the Mountain King remixes fitted the majority of the thing, and then shoop goes nuts.

Then, Radioactive was suited for the EPIC ENDING (asdf). As for the flashm my favorite part was the Blackrobat and Lemonhead and Emobears part. The 'hero' reference really made my day with the one Emobear, and where Verdi was flashed when Lemonhead died. I guess that's what happens when you fuck around with a 'black platypus.'

You've really improved since Redness Precedence, especially with the walking bits. The ending (out of everything) was great, Dad all the way. Great work Alpha.

Greatly animated; dull humor.

The flash was animated smoothly and great, and the voices were pretty good, I overheard a few people trying to sound like Billy, but they've failed so terribly at it. However, the joke at the end wasn't really funny. I mean, he's a death guy whose death, but then suggests to use flash cards, while Billy, who was only built to speak, and not operate with his hands, is just staring at him. If you compare the original movies, to this parody, you'll get what I mean.

The flash was pretty short, but what really got me off is how the deathmask was drawn. It looked nothing like the original one in Saw II, and the placement is wrong (it's on the side), but then it makes more sense as to why he's laying on the ground, so that it doesn't interfere with the movement. And before he even went to where they key would be, his eye was never removed, or looked like it, which pretty much caused the humor to go down (thus, to a well-animated yet humor-dead parody). Again, it's a great flash, and you should defiantly animate the lengthy script you mentioned, but you might want to work on the humor a tad bit if you do (if it's meant to be funny).

More things that screwed up the flash's humor is when Billy went all "Why are you staring at me," and that just flickered the candle off. I mean, as Billy is a puppet, he couldn't possibly see that Michael was staring at him. The Chris Crocker reference never really helped, since Chris Crocker can get pretty old in-time, but, then there's the easily amused fans, so I can't blame them for being all easily occupied. I liked the SAW font that you placed in the movie, did you make it, or get it off somewhere?

Where the fun begins

Castle III part C and D were always my favorites, since it contains the most violence and action out of all the parts. A really big plot twist was when Etrius was shot in the head from the General, and when the Soldier suddenly exploded into small limbs. After that, everything went well. My favorite was when the one guy was jumping all over those 'zombie-like' creatures' heads to get down all those stairs.

The odd bit was the soldier's firearm design. It looked like a shotgun, yet acted like a sub-machine gun. I like how the blood went over the screen, but then it went all repetitive with that later. I like how in Part D the General takes off without the others, perhaps he's a traitor of some sort? Neat animation with stick figures, I'd never thought that someone would go all serious with them before.

HELLO!? IS ANYBODY THERE!?

I'm a real sucker for zombie animations, and somewhat of Madness, so I checked this out, and I got more then what I thought. Most of the scenes, though, lagged pretty bad, and slowed down the movie. The action, though, was pretty sweet, besides the overuse of the Legend of Zelda and StarCraft sounds, but I like the idea of the Hydralisk sounds for the zombies. The Scourge death sounds, though, really didn't fit.

The first person seen in the movie died so quickly into the movie, that it's kind of pathetic (looks like somebody never took the zombie survival quiz), but the part where Justin died was pretty well made, it had the sad music in it. The animation's plot wasn't there, since all it was about is escaping the city to the harbor alive, but that's just about it. Day of the Madness'll be great, though. Good luck on it.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Infection mutations range by the size of the bite and area the bite is, it was a big bite, it got there quickly.

You must construct additional Pylons!

I loved it, every single bit of it. Some of the drawings were a bit off from the actual in-game art, but it's still close enough. I like how the flash was synthed to the song (that you also mixed out). Great, but is repetitive at some points.

Sorry for the really short review, but I'm all out of words.

Cool.

Great, but the flash was so low quality, from the screenshots - to the .gifs. You also got loads of pictures wrong, from the Science Vessels, Battle Cruisers, The Zerglings, Zealots, Queens, Marines, and the SCV. Besides that, I think the Zerglings are actually Broodlings, since Zergling voices aren't that high pitched. The flash was still cool, besides all of that.

I'd wait until Christmas to review this, but- I just felt like doing it early this time. Since I have a few submissions on Christmas to review that time of year (that, and I'm also a StarCraft sucker :P). Great job, although I've seen a flash movie already on this, and it's better in image quality. Also, I spiked the egg-nog :3.
